- Rainsford and Whitney is traveling to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. and are currently on the yacht in the sea. They both are skilled hunters.
- Rainsford hears three gunshots and falls overboard. He couldn't swam back to the yacht because he got slapped by the sea waters. Once he reached the shore he found himself stranded on an Island.
