- Wait, when was this decided? I didn't even know or hear about at all? Why didn't anybody tell me about this?! I'm not leaving this farm!
- Hey, we're gonna be moving to the US soon. Your father and I plan on selling the farm land
- This is something your father and I have just decided- we'll be going there so we can be closer to grandma and your cousins. You're also going to finally be able to start going to school as well

- My parents ended up selling our animals to nearby farms (our neighbors). As for our house it was placed into tenure if I remember correctly
- My parents did end up sitting me down to explain as to why they made this decision. In moving, we will reunite and be closer to family, I would finally legally be allowed to go to school, and we would not have to face and be concern about prejudices.

- In the end, we ended up flying over to America, we landed in Connecticut first and reunited with the rest of our family. However, it wasn't until we all moved over to California was I then finally able to start going to school.
