- It had been another typical day as Mark was on his way to school. Other people sometimes thought, Mark is so odd. Why is he always smiling? But Mark wasn’t actually weird. He was just a chill guy who enjoyed simple things.

- He's the weirdest kid in school. No one can be that happy - it’s just unnatural
- However, everyone thought that Mark was a cringy guy, so nobody wanted to be friends with him. Mark was walking through the crowded school cafeteria when he noticed Lulu, the biggest bully in school, standing with her friends. They were whispering and gossiping about Mark...

- Mark walked calmly, as he always did, but Lulu started moving more quickly toward him. She looked down on Mark's face and kids turned to watch what was happening. Mark feelt fear, but he didn’t show it. Instead, his expression was peaceful as always.
- “What’s up, Smiley? Think you’re better than everyone else?” Lulu’s voice was louder than usual, she wanted to impress her friends.
- Mark looked up at her and smiled gently. “Nope. I just think being angry all the time is harder than being happy,” he said softly but clearly, his calmness surprised everyone.
