Therefore, she started to make a different voice, one that nobody would care about nor compare.
- Harrison was very good looking, and the H-G men to hide his beauty, required him to wear a red ball on his face, shave his eyebrows and cover his white teeth.
- She is Diana Moon Glampers, the Handicapper General. She entered the studio where the ballerina was, alongside Harrison, and was shot twice. The Emperor and the Empress were dead. She obliged everyone in the studio to put their handicaps back on; otherwise, she would fire.
- Vonnegut uses this to ridicule the idea of everyone being the same in society. This is impossible; however, people have increasingly tried to be more like others instead of just being themselves. In Harrison Bergeron the government attempts to make everyone equal; however, everyone ends up being miserable. The government found a way to control people´s brains as a good excuse.
