  • Many of the symptoms associated with ADHD lessen or completely disappear by the time the patient reaches adulthood; however, for some people, this is not the case. Oftentimes in these cases, the patient will see a reduction in overt hyperactive symptoms - and an increase in internal hyperactivity such as the feeling of constant mental activity, and restlessness.
  • ADHD symptoms include Hyperactivity, Impulsiveness, Executive Function problems, and Inatenntion. These symptoms must be present for more than 6 months and must cause problems in at least 2 places, such as school and home, to result in a diagnosis.
