- I am very hungry after fasting for 40 days and nights, so the devil tempted me.
- If you really are Gods son you can turn these stones into loaves of bread.
- But if you listen to me I will do the best for you.
- Get away! I shall not worship anyone else than God himslef. You are not good for me anyways.
- I cannot worship and listen to anyone else other than God.
- If you are the son of God let yourself sink underwater and God will save you, right?
- Mr Devil, I cannot test God like that, and make him save me. I am not going to give in.
- If you worship me I will give you all the kingdoms and all the cities you see down below.
- But please Jesus I will give you anything you would ever like.
