This seems to be the case of Trojan malware.  Trojan malware is a harmful program that masks itself to be  a beneficial program. Lets go to the main computer room to  take a look at this website you've shown me
Well I clicked on "Buy Now," but it's immediately asking for my credit card information. Huh?????

If you give your private information, cybercriminals can hack into your accounts and take advantage of it.

These cybercriminals, aka socially engineered trojans, plan attacks based off behaviors of users using different websites

Two main ways to avoid these attacks are  to install and keep up to date antivirus software and not giving permission to any unfamiliar program at all
