  • Yeah. I'm glad you asked. Mindfulness is being aware of your own feelings and accepting it without judgement. It comes hand to hand with emotional intelligence and practicing both can help you guide through the thought process of emotions.
  • Hm, I guess you're right but I do have a question. What specifically is mindfulness? I heard about it but never understood it.

  • Ohh yeah. I know more about emotional intelligence though I sometimes forget to practice it. I know that the 5 key elements to it are, empathy, motivation social skills, self regulation and awareness.
  • Yeah you're right. It is easy to get caught up with emotions and forget about that stuff. Take time for yourself and pay attention to your feelings. Apart of being emotionally intelligent is understanding others but you have to be able to sit with yours first.
