Ravi is a Indian boy and he is going to school in America and he is having a bit trouble with his English. There is another Indian boy(Dylan) and he constantly makes fun of him because he can speak better English.

Ravi does not like to tell is mom what is happening at school because he does not to make her feel worried. So he tries to keep all of his pain to himself.

There was one day that Ravi's mother figured out why Ravi was coming home from school worried. So she took matters into her own hands and went to school to ask the principle some questions.

Hi I am Ravi's mother and I am wondering how he is doing in school
Ravi is doing great But...
In the story Ravi gets called up to do a math problem and really wants to impress his teacher. Than Dylan trips him the second he tries to walk to the board.

The next day at lunch Dylan invites Ravi to his table to eat. Than Ravi remembers what happened to day before and declines his offer.

After the situation with Dylan Ravi see a boy sitting alone. (His name is Joe) He than goes over to him and sits with him and ever since than they have been good friends.
Hey do you mind if I sit here
