- The Invasion
- Ready the ships, begin the invasion.
- Harald Hardraada invades from the south because he thinks he should be king instead of Harold Godwinson.

- The March
- We shall now stop hardraadas attack!
- Harold godwinson hear of the invasion and marches north to stop hardraadas invasion, he collects fyrds (normal people with not much experience)and house carls ( highly trained professionals) on the way. They marched 180 miles!
- الانزلاق: 3
- Hardraada’s mistake
- All Hardraadas men left their armour on the ship because it was a hot day. The soldiers were also scattered across the area around Stamford bridge.

- The Battle
- You shall not pass!!
- Harold reaches the bridge and the only thing stopping them was a lone viking axeman who surprisingly killed 40 of godwinson’s men before taking a spear to the groin under the bridge.

- Hardraada’s death
- Harald was shot by an arrow into his throat, killing him. Hardraada’s army was confused and out of control as they had no leader. Harold makes a deal with his son to let him go but he never attacks England again.

- The celebrations were cut short by a second attack!
- Time to attack when they least expect it!
- While Harold’s exhausted army celebrate, William Duke of Normandy attacks and the tired and shrunken army had to fight William’s rested and prepared army. Not only that but they have to march all the way to the south coast!
