Bobby wanted to ride a slide. He saw one with a height of 8 ft. There was a 10 ft gap between the end of the slide and the ground where the slide starts. He didn't want one that was too steep so he used trig to find the angle at the top of the slide. He found out that (tan^(-1))*(10/8)=51.34 degrees

When Bobby had to go home, he was curious to know how tall the bus was. He knew that the distance there was from the bus to himself was around 5 ft and that the angle of elevation was 66 degrees. To find the height of the bus, he used trig. He found out that tan(66)=11.23ft/5ft.

When Bobby had to got home, he wanted to find out the height of the Eiffel Tower. He knew that the distance there was from the tower to himself was around 473 ft and that the angle of elevation was 66 degrees. To find the height of the bus, he used trig. He found out that tan(66)=1062.4ft/473ft.
