- The Korean War was a battle between North and South Korea. The reason for their fighting was because the north wanted to spread communism to the rest of Korea but neither the South or U.S wanted this. At the end of the war no one won and lives were lost for nothing.

- The Space Race was one of the many events that have happened in the Cold War. Russia and the U.S feuded with each other after World War 2 to see who would make it to the top. Russia was able to make it out into space first but America won by being able to land on the moon and make contact.

- The USA wanted to stop the spread of Communism by detaining it with a policy to hold it down. This happened in the Cold War and was mostly directed to the communist sphere of influence in Eastern Europe, China, Korea, and Vietnam.
- Vietnam War
- This wall was built to keep the capitalism out of the West and East Germany. But West Germany refused to see East Germany as its own country and was crushed out of protest.
- West Germany
- This was a confrontation between the United States and the Soviet Union over the discovery of the Unions missile shipment to Cuba. Near the end of the crisis the United States president,John F. Kennedy, was able to make an agreement with the Soviets to get rid of the missiles in Cuba

- The Vietnam War was a conflict that was struct between North and South Vietnam because of North Vietnam wanting to spread communism with the Soviet Union and China. The USA entered that battle March 8, 1965 because of the fear of communism spreading world wide and wanting it to be stopped. The war ended with the US winning with most of the battles but the communist still won the war.
