- I always thank my God and remember you in my prayers. I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective
- Paul's Plea for Onesimus
- I could be bold and order you to do what I want to do, but I would rather do it with love
- Before Onesimus used to be useless but now he is useful for both of us
- Paul says that he won't retain Onesimus without Philemon's consent
