  • individuals between the ages of 14 and 25 are biologically programmed to begin to separate, both physically and psychologically, from their families of origin. Unfortunately, due to a number of factors including the COVID-19 pandemic, some youth may not have the opportunities or skills necessary to connect with their peers.
  • The Outcome
  • Hey! I can make friends after all!
  • The Art Connection was created to provide opportunities for transition-age youth without the opportunities or skills to form social relationships with others. Using mobile internet "hotspots" and Zoom, youth experiencing social isolation can take part in virtual art classes, take part in therapeutic art activites while form social connections with others in the class.
