- What is power? How can it be defined?
- [In philosophy class]
- Power is when someone have the most control. Power can be seen through the government, for example tyranny.
- Ahh, but power is not always shown in the government according to Foucault. It is best defined through systems.
- What kind of systems?
- An example is surveillance. It is everywhere and forces the human consciousness to behave even when they think no one is there. That power is not a person, rather a system.
- Vrrm!!

- The fact that power exists means there will be a thrive to get better. A will to power can not exist if there is no such thing as "better"
- Okay, now what are the effects of power existing in society? And is that a good thing or bad thing?
- High class
- But is power always better? A result of power is class struggle. Many people struggle due to having little money.
- Middle class
- Lower class
- If the world was completely fair, there would be no struggle, therefore no real relief or gratification. We would all feel alienated with no real strive for passion.

- So now we discussed what power is, how we can define it, and the pros and cons of it. Now, how do we react to it?
- I agree. We may have different views on what power is, but speaking for yourself and staying true should be the way of living.
- I think staying true and authentic to ourselves can combat any unwanted power. Not all power is good and not all power is bad
