- Welcome to the clinic. We are thankful that you have agreed to be apart of our cancer research. I am going to begin by asking your family some questions

- The Doctor is apart of a research project that requires doctors to interview the patients parents asking about their family history, allegories, and possible diagnosis of asthma. They then take their results and do research comparing their patient to patients who are diagnosed with a brain tumor.

- Study: Comparing 272 children with brain tumors to matched control groups of patients without brain tumors
- Results: Children with asthma had a 45% lower risk of developing a brain tumor compared to children without asthma

- The Doctor takes her data and generates results using the information she has gathered. Researchers are still figuring out how asthma medication could be impacting this data.
