- Please! Please don’t hurt me! Some of them are in the room right up the ladder . Just please don’t hurt anyone.

- Oh dear, will I still be able to see my beautiful daughter's as well as my husband?
- Sir, I own this building, just please don’t hurt my family and I will follow all of your commands.
- Who has done this? I put this much trust in someone to keep me and my family safe and they have done this to me.

- As I realize what is happening, and the whole reality of the situation, I realize how many things I wish I could have changed throughout my life. I realized how much nicer I could have been to my mother and sister. I also realize how many things I may never get to due in my life.
- Everyone slowly moves out, and doesn't try anything. You will be hurt if you do not obey my orders.
- Mom, Dad, Anne, just know I love you all very much and whatever happens I will never forget you.

- Mother, just know that with everything that happened up there in the annex, I didn’t mean any of it. I simply was just an immature teen, and now I love you very much and don’t take you for granted.

- I never got to realize how beautiful and majestic the outdoors were since I was up there for so long. I have missed so much of my childhood.
