- I walked into my first day of freshman year 4 years ago innocent, young, and still in a bubble that I had been in my whole entire life. At 14 years old and at this point in my life, I didn't really know what to expect or how much my friends, habits, social life, or even how I would change as a person.
- It wasn't till the end of sophomore/begging of junior year when my life began to change. I was no longer playing the sport I had been playing my whole life, I did't have the same friends I had through out all of middle school until sophomore year. Then, with the Covid-19 outbreak, I was no longer leaving the house and began doing virtual learning. At the time, it didn't seem like a big adjustment, and I also didn't realize at that time that my life wasn't going to go back to normal.
- Looking back now, a senior in high school graduating in less than a week its finally starting to hit me, this is it. living in the town I have grown up in my whole life, surrounded my the same friends and family was soon going to be a thing of the past. I've learned so many things and life skills over the course of these years. I made it through the highest highs, and the lowest lows. The one thing that I was never really able to comprehend, was how fast the time goes. I remember sitting in a classroom the first day of freshman year listening to my teachers tell me I would be here before I knew it, I didn't realize it then, but it helped teach me, time goes by slowly as a child, but the older you get, the faster life goes on.
