  • CELEBRATE GRADUATE STUDENTS NIGHT
  • Meet Kay, a 3rd year PhD candidate in the Gender Women’s Studies program. Kay moved to Lexington from Alabama.

  • Between teaching, dissertation work, and classes they’re attending, Kay has been feeling over-worked and underappreciated. They miss the sense of community they had as an undergrad even though they have made a couple friends in their program, including their roommate Laura.
  • Kay has been teaching a class for two semesters now, and is starting their third semester of the class.

  • The Wildcats are ready for this weekend's game!
  • Kay is heading to their office space in POT and sees a video playing on the Welcome Board in the Hub. It catches their attention because their advisor and the athletics director are standing together.
