- ICBC Learn to Drive Smart
- You can study for your knowledge test by studying 'Learn to Drive Smart' and taking the practice tests on the ICBC app.

- You can then apply to take the Knowledge test
- Do your vision screening, take then receive your L!
- You have to get 40/50 questions right to pass
- Answer 80% correct on your 50 multiple choice questions to pass your knowledge test to receive your L.

- Once you have your L, insure your vehicle and you can start to practice driving with an adult that is at least 25 with a valid class 1-5 licsense in the passenger seat

- With your L, you have restricted hours of driving from 5am-midnight, no electronic devices, you must have your L on the rear of the vehicle, and you can have one passenger other than your adult supervisor.

- After at least 12 months of having your L and have been prohibition free, you can register for your class 7 road test to obtain your N.

- To prepare for your road test, make sure to have lots of road experience, practice on different weather conditions, and practice your road test.

- Your road test and will take approx. 35 mins, and the examiner will take you on a route to demonstrate test your driving skills.

- Same as your L, once you have your N, you have to have it on the rear of your vehicle. No electronic devices, and you can have one passenger other than immediate family.

- After 2 years of following these restrictions, you can take your class 5 test, to show your examiner skilled driving skills and vehicle control.

- After taking your class 5 test, your examiner will go over what you did well and what you need to improve, and find out if you've passed to earn your full license.

- In all cases of driving, no matter what license, you can't use any electronics or be under the influence while driving, it's illegal and unsafe.
