- My dad probably wont let me go to the dance because he is too protective

- The story of My Favorite Chaperone talks about Maya , a khazak girl that needed to move to the United States because the country was broke even though they had jobs. They moved to the United States hoping for a better life and education.
- Climax :
- Don't joke with me about this stuff, boy.
- Maya! They said ok!
- The storie's setting is the school , which is also the place where the school dance is going to occur , However Maya knows that her father wont let her go because her dad is too protective.
- Falling action :
- Maya , I got this when I turned 16 and danced with your dad. So I am giving you my golden , luck monogram ,so you can bring it to the dance.
- Thank you so much mom! I know this means a lot to you !
- Maya gets in trouble for playing with Daniel, a boy on the wrestling team. Her dad scolds her for being a playtoy for american boys.
- Resolution :
- Nurzhan convices his parent to let Maya go to the dance, but her parents say that Nurzhan will have to watch over her as a chaperone.
- Maya's mom gives Maya the golden bracelet as a symbol of permission and acceptance that she will dance at a young age.
- Maya attends to the dance. Daniel dances with her. Nurzhan doesn't want to interupt so he goes to the washroom for the whole time. Maya tell Nurzhan that he is her favorite chaperone.
