- This is Sulekha, aka Bholi, the simpleton. She is the fourth daughter of Numberdar Ramlal. When she was two years old, she had an attack of small-pox. leaving her entire body disfigured by deep black pockmarks. She also stammered. The other children oftenmade fun of her and mimicked her.
