- The Reign of Terror was a conflict between two rival sides: the Girondins and the Jacobins. The Jacobins were upset with the lack of necessities that were being offered to them by the government, so they overthrew the Girondins.

- Napoleon led a rebellion against the French government which allowed him to be the leader of France. He set up a government that brought equality and stability to a broken country in 1799.

- It is safe to say that the French Revolution didn't lead to democracy, but did bring out more of it, along with getting rid of monarchy and aristocracy. The revolution brought a few ideas. It made the "Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen," and emphasized the fact that all men are equal.
