- I really want to ask her questions
- Its a really long commute to our practicum which can be time consuming
- I wonder if she feels uncomfortable because I am not saying anything
- It is just really hard on me and my daughter
- Should I be saying something at the end of this conversation? should I paraphrase? what do I do?

- It is hard sometimes because my boyfriend, his family, and all our friends live here but, all of my family lives in Calgary and I miss them
- You find it difficult because your family lives so far away but you live by many people you love around here too.
- Yeah, my boyfriend and I try to go to Calgary as much as we can but we are both so busy and it gets expensive.
- how do I keep the conversation going if I just keep paraphrasing? what if I say something judgmental by accident?
- This feels so unnatural, I wonder if she can tell I am purposely paraphrasing what she is saying
- So you are happy that your family get along well with your boyfriend
- My family also loves my boyfriend which is really nice that they all get along.
