- Friers get payed by the people to pray for them but in this story he is just stealing their money. He usually lists down the name of the people he had to pray for and then erases them and the worst thing is that no-one else knows about it

- The Summoner plus other men are walking on a journey when the Summoner begins to tell the story of the Friars disrespect and why all the Friars live in "the devils arse."

- Frier meets with Thomas and his wife for the death of his 2 year old child and for Thomas's illness. But the Frier kissing Thomases wife for too long and to add to that, the Frier asks for more money for his prayers to be sent.
- الانزلاق: 5
- He is mad that he farted in his hand and in his face and tells the Lord and his wife about what happen. The lord and the Lady are confused about what the Friar is talking about and so the Friar leaves.
- الانزلاق: 6
- He then goes to the congregation/group of men to see what they think. Some took it too literally as far as how to divide that fart between all of them, and some thought it was funny.
