For example, someone may be more cautious and less impulsive which helps them avoid dangerous situations. Another person may make risk-taking decisions which can help them acquire new skills and explore.

- Personality develops through the different Stages of Development, and like you mentioned about acquiring new skills, how we solve challenges at each stage can effect our entire lives.

- I agree Erikson! Personality can be learnt through social interactions as well. See, we can't really form our identities if we are isolated from everyone.
- You probably remember getting that weird haircut back in high school because everyone else had it thinking it was cool and you wanted to make sure you would fit in with your peers. HAH!
