- Titus Andronicus, the Roman general, returns from a 10 year war with 5 prisoners. he queen of Goths, Tamora, her three sons and Aaron the moor. Despite Tamora’s weeping, Titus orders for her eldest son to be beheaded due to the sacrifice that has to be made for his 21 dead sons. Meanwhile, Caesar, the Roman emperor, has died and Titus has been allowed to choose who will be the next emperor. He chooses Saturninus. Saturninus says he will marry Livia, Titus’ daughter. Bassianus, Saturninus’ brother says that Livia was promised to be his wife. Titus’ sons help take Livia away from Saturninus.Titus gets enraged and in the kidnapping he kills his own son. Later on, Saturninus chooses to marry Tamora instead of Livia and becomes angry with the situation and decides to punish Bassianus, Titus and Livia. However, Tamora convinces Saturninus to let them go by telling him she will have revenge on Titus in the future. The scene ends with the fact that Saturninus and Tamora get married and Bassianus is married to Livia.

- Hello I am Titus a roman general returning from a 1O year battle with 5 prisoners.
- Act 2 starts with a horrific scene which has Tamora and Aaron encourage Tamora’s living sons to go and rape Lavinia and kill Basianus.The next day there is a plan to have a hunt in the forest however Tamora and Aaron plot their revenge to be occurred during the hunt. Aaron Tamora and Tamoras’ sons use the occasion to pursue the hunt and rape of Lavinia and kill Basianus. They kill Bassianus and take Tamora deep into the woods where they rape her, cut off her hands and her tongue so that she could tell no one what has happened to her and Bassianus. Meanwhile Aaron writes a letter implying that Titus’ sons Marshus and Quintus killed Basianus.Saturninus then judges both innocent sons to death.Later on, Tamoras’ two sons take Bassianus and throw him into a pit while Livia begs them to throw her into the pit rather than rape her. Suddenly we see that the pit which Bassianus was thrown into has become a womb which resembles the image of a devouring mother.In the final scene we can see Tamora becoming a devouring mother.

- We can see that Titus’ sons Marshus and Quintus are being taken away to be executed meanwhile begging the emperor to have mercy on his son’s he learns what has happened to his beloved daughter.A while later Aaron comes saying that he has been ordered to deliver this message to Titus.It says that if he cuts of his hand then he will spare the lives of his sons.Titus cuts his hand of without knowing that this was a trap that was made by Aaron as both of his sons get executed anyway.This angers Titus and Titus is now engulfed in rage. He then commands Lucius to go make a goth army as both vow revenge.

- Lavinia is found and she finds a way to say what happened to her by writing Tamoras' sons names in the sand using what's left of her hands. Later on, we can see that Tamora gives birth to a son; however, it is the child of Aaron (it is therefore black ) so she replaces it with a white one so that Saturninus thinks it’s his own son. Aaron takes the child and leaves insearch of the goths.Meanwhile Lucius has persuaded the Goths to attack Rome.

- We can see that Aaron has found the Goths however they have been captured and are being imprisoned by them. Lucius demands the execution of both Aaron and his child however Aaron says that if they spare his child then he will tell them about other crimes he commited. Aaron then admits about the death of Bassianus and the rape of Lavinia.Lucius is enraged and he gags and chokes Aaron but he doesn’t kill him. Meanwhile Tamora and her sons try to trick Titus into thinking that they are spirits who will help him get revenge. However Titus recognizes them through the masks and tricks Tamora into leaving her two sons with him.Titus then kills her two sons and mixes their dead corpses into a meat pie. Saturninus Lucius and Tamora all arrive at Titus’ house for a meeting. As they are talking Titus tells them about a man who killed his own daughter after she was raped. Saturninus tells Titus that it was the right decision which enrages Titus resulting in him killing his own daughter Lavinia. The meeting continues and when Titus realizes that Tamora started eating the meat pie he tells her that it is made out of her own sons’. After he has let these words leave his mouth he also kills Tamora. Infuriated, Saturninus kills Titus and Lucius kills Saturninus. Lucius is the new emperor of Rome as the others have perished.
