- SOLID
- My name is Aubrey, and this is my friend, Icee. He's a glacier which means he is a solid and he's made out of frozen water.
- My friend Icee has melted due to the radiation from the sun. Once the temperature reached the melting point it turned Icee into a liquid.All of his particles were together but they began to separate from each other as he began to melt resulting in him becoming a liquid.Solid turns into a liquid.
- MELTING ~ RADIATION
- Meet Mr. Ponder my new friend. I definitely miss Icee, but due to radiation he's no longer with us.
- LIQUID
- Hey guys, It's Aubrey again turns out Mr. Ponder has disappeared. Overtime, as temperature began to rise causing (radiation) the water from Mr. Ponder began to evaporate into the atmosphere causing him to turn into a gas.Evaporation is a type of vaporization that occurs at the surface of liquids and is a slower process than boiling. Liquid turns into a gas (water vapor).
- EVAPORATION ~ RADIATION
- Thermal energy causes phases to change from solid, to liquid, to gas. As particles expand a separate this causes this undergoing process.I'm still waiting to meet Mr. (Gas)tric. Hoping it's very soon!
