- Well gravity does is that pulls. Gravity is in a direct relationship with mass and if a object has a larger mass then it has more of a gravitational pull. Gravity is the reason why we can still see the moon.
- Ok but that doesnt tell me why my lamp fell down, im asking what does gravity do.
- Well if you jump then the Earth's gravity will pull you down

- The Earth has the moon in lock with it because of its distance to the moon. Obviously the sun is larger amd would normally have a larger gravitational pull yet since the moon is closer to the Earth. the moon is locked in with the Earth.
- So then is the Earth in lock with the sun?
