Sophmore year of highschool was when I got exposed to the "real world" and as cliche as it sounds, it was because of a boy. A boy I had liked since the summer prior to sophmore year. You can imagine my excitment when he decided to talk to me on a random day.

For the sake of this comic I will not use his real name. In this scene, I am showing the day he asked me to be his "girlfriend." I had seen him a few days prior to this and he had given me a compliment but that was it. I don't know how things escalated but I was thrilled with joy.

'Fast forward a few weeks, we had gone to the park to have a genuine conversation. He did not know me since eighth grade, he knew of me buthe didn’t know me.
