- It's so rude how they are staring at us with mean looks. I'm grateful we still can go to church though...

- But why sir?? why do we even need cotton?
- Hurry up and pick the cotton before the steam boat arrives!!!
- Because the boat heads to the North and to Europe so the cotton can be used for clothes.
- Being a small farmer isn't bad and I own my own land and a few slaves.

- Being a planter is the best! I many slaves and I'm so wealthy!
- I'm a poor farmer and I hold no slaves, me and my brothers live on the mountains.
- I wish slaves never existed. I have no rights and no freedom.
- Geographic Features
- Why are we traveling on water? and why do we need to go north with all this cotton?
- Traveling on water is cheap and easy. We need to take the cotton north to be made into clothing.
- And since the southern cities are by the water ways it's easy to travel by ship.
- NO! People shouldn't be forced to do labor and should have rights! They are people!
- Political/Cultural
- Nonsense, slaves should still be owned by people!
- I don't know if we should allow slavery for the young nations...
- Economic
- We are "extra" slaves and we must do labor as our owner said so.
- I'm tired and hungry. Why do we have to be mill workers?? Why couldn't we do anything easier?
