- Finally, I can get this kid out of here. Ms. May will never guess it's me or any of the other students except him.
- It was morning, and Grady and his Mom were in the old apartment building they lived in. It was fall now, in New York City, New York, and that meant Grady was going to start school soon. School started two weeks ago, and Grady was nervous to start school because he knew he wasn't as wealthy as some of the other students. Grady was just about to head out the door into the chilly, fall day, with leaves of all colors on the ground surrounding him. I also chose to tell this story in third person omniscient so we could see the thoughts and feelings, and everything going on. The mood right now is heartfelt.
- Climax
- My lunch is gone! Someone stole it! I'm going to check the camera's!!!!
- I forgot about the cameras!
- Grady finally reached school. Ms. May, his new teacher, introduced him to the class since he got there a little later in the school year. Ms. May has red hair; dark, brown eyes; and she is fairly tall. Grady was also introduced to a couple boys in his class. One stood out to him because he was dressed so nicely. His name was Dannie, and he was the teacher's pet. He had blond hair, blue eyes, and he was very well dressed. It almost made Grady feel extra poor. Ms. May is round, and static. Dannie is round, and static. Grady is round and static.
- Falling Action
- Hmmmm... Oh wow!
- Dannie didn't like Grady. The class left for lunch while Ms. May was using the restroom. Dannie stayed a minute after to take care of some business. He stole Ms. May's lunch off her desk, and hid it. The conflict identified here is man vs. man because he is trying to steal and make himself look innocent, so it will look like Grady stole because he is poor and may not have as much food. He knows Ms. May would not suspect the other students or himself. He is trying to get Grady kicked out of class.
- Resolution
- As the students are coming back from lunch Ms. May walks in. She realizes her lunch is missing. She and her students were shocked, mad, and sad. She knew that she had a camera in her room that caught the action, so she decided to go and check the film. Dannie forgot there was a camera that would catch all the footage, so he freaks out too.
- Ms. May went to the principal's office to check the camera. Ms. May was totally shocked. The theme of my story is: Think before you act because Dannie didn't think clearly before he acted.
- Ms. May comes back to the classroom sadly. Then as she spoke the students were shocked, " The cameras weren't working."I chose for the end of my story to be a plot twist to keep the reader guessing what's going to happen next.
