  • The Red center is for the handmaids to be trained in. The center is led by the powerful Aunts.
  • Flashback
  • The Commander wants to know Offred better andd invites her into his office. Handmaids are not allowed to meet their Commanders in private. The Commander insists Offred to play Scrabble with her.
  • The Ceremony
  • Offred examines her bedroom. She finds the phrase "Nolite te bastardes carborundorum" by the hooks, which can symbolize suicide.
  • Moira's Escape
  • Offred has a flashback where she is escaping with her daughter from the soldiers.
  • The Ceremony is a ritual that is supposed to make Handmaid's pregnant. The wife(Serena Joy) and Offred are supposed to be "one flesh, one being." Offred lays between the legs of Serena joy and Serena holds Offred's hands.
  • Moira went to the bathroom and overflowed the toilet. She then stabs Aunt Lydia with a metal object. She then wore Aunt Lydia's desguise. Moira tries to escape, but fails to do so.
