- Thisbe and Pyramus lived very close to each other in the city of Babylon.They communicated and talked through a hole through their wall.

- They whispered to each other through the crack, and eventually fell in love. However their parents forbid their love and don't allow them to see each other. So they plan to sneak out and meet up.

- Thisbie sneaks out and makes it to the tomb under the mulberry tree . Instead of seeing Pyramus, she sees a lion by the tree. The lion attacks her but it only captures her shawl. Thisbe manages to escape with a scratch.

- Pyramus eventually makes it to the meeting place and sees blood , and the shawl clothes.Assuming she’s dead Pyramus blames himself for her death and stabs himself in the chest.
