- There was no land, sun, moon, or stars thousands of years ago, and the world was nothing but a vast sea of water, over which extended the sky.
- I am Lidagat.
- The water was the kingdom of the goddess Maguayan, the Goddess of the sea and death, and the sky was ruled by the great god of the Sky, Kaptan.
- I am Licalibutan. I am made made of rock and I confident about everything I do.
- Kaptan had a son named Lihangin, the wind. He is the god of the wind.
- Lidagat, the sea, was Maguayan's daughter. She is also the goddess of the sea.
- The gods approved to their children's marriage, and the sea became the wind's bride. They had three sons named Licalibutan, Libulan, and Liadlao; and a daughter named Lisuga.
