- Hello Kurt, Thank you for calling. I have spoken to the officer on duty and had you released on bail. Can you please come into the office so we can discuss your charges, and how to progress forward with your case.
- Well, I was pretty drunk so I don't actually remember the entire story. But... We were at the pub and everyone was drinking together, the girl was with her friends aswell. We had been dancing and kissing all night. Couldn't keep our hands off each other
- Hey Sarah! Yea, the police report says that Kurt has raped a woman while she was passed out after a night drinking. I feel very passionately about protecting the victims. But I can't avoid these ethically challenging cases forever.
- Hey Demi! I heard about your case, was surprised you've taken it on since the incident. It's probably been what, 5 years since you last took on a case like this? How are you feeling?

- NEVER! I have had some charges related to alcohol intoxication and some minor drug charges. But I have never hurt anyone. While I was being interviewed by the police, before I contacted you. The police officer asked me if I had sexual intercourse with the girl, I naturally said yes because I had assumed we had but now I am not even sure if what we did, I didn't have any scratches on me and no semen. I was fully clothed and the condoms I had in my wallet hadn't been touched.
- I had been drinking beers all day and then had 5 or so rums at the pub. So a lot. No, I had never even seen them before.

- Anyways, after drinking at the pub they invited me to their house, so we walked there from the pub. I don't remember who was with us or who's house it was, but I remember laying on the couch with this lady as soon as we got there. and then I passed out. I woke up in the morning and didn't know where I was, no one was around me so I just left. I didn't think anything of it, and put it down to a bad night on the p*ss
- There was two girls and a guy at the house. I was fully clothed on the couch when i woke up. But I was alone
- can you remember any specific details, who was with you when you left, who was at the house, what you were wearing when you woke?
- But, Her HUSBAND found out about us hooking up a couple of days later. I found out from friends of mine who knew the group we were with, that he was looking for me. And that's when the police arrested me for rape! Her husband found out we slept together and she's guilty for cheating and now she's is calling it rape!!
- Kurt, I must admit. Your lack of memory of the event leaves some very big gaps in the timeline of this incident. I must ask, is there any chance, during that gap in memory, that you could have forced yourself on this woman?When you woke, did you have any scratches or semen on you?
- Ok, I need you to be aware of the charges against you and the plaintiffs version of the events. Police are currently charging you with rape. The woman is saying that a group of friends, yourself included went back to her friends house. She passed out on the couch next to you, than woke in the night to you strangling her and raping her. She was afraid, so didn't resist. After you finished, she went to another room to sleep.
