Hi I'm Jeffrey! I'm 15 years old and live in Indianapolis. A few days ago I noticed a lump on my left testicle. I've been having pain in that are so I'm at the doctor to have it checked out.
Oh no! Am I going to die? How can I treat this? What can I do? Why did this happen?
After running a blood test and an ultrasound I've come to the conclusion that you have testicular cancer.
Doing things like eating healthy and getting exercise will also help you! You are also at a higher risk because of your age and race.
Don't worry Jeffrey you'll be fine! There is a 99.98% chance of survival. Chemotherapy looks to be your best option for treatment.
I'm back at the hospital for my first session of chemotherapy. This session should take about an hour. I have a sweet playlist to get me through it.
I'm home after my first session. I feel achy and tired. Hopefully the therapy can cure me.
9 months later
My doctor says I need to keep doing self checkups on my area. I'm also still eating healthy and exercising.
After several rounds of chemo my cancer is in remission! I'm feeling great and back to playing my favorite game.
