- The king and his guards are on a ship and caught in a violent storm. The ship begins to sink, leaving the survivors to wash up on a nearby island.
- HELP US!
- Act 1 Scene 2
- Prospero and Miranda just witnessed the shipwreck. Miranda is worried, but Prospero assures her that no one was harmed and tells her who she is and where she comes from.
- Don't worry, they won't be harmed. I am just teaching them a lesson!
- Act 2 Scene 1
- Why don't you kill Gonzalo and Alonso?You would then become King!It's definitely a good idea!
- Alonso, Sebastian, Antonio, and Gonzalo search for Prince Ferdinand. Antonio nearly convinces Sebastian to kill Alonso and take the throne while Gonzalo and Alonso are asleep.
- Act 2 Scene 2
- Caliban hides from Trinculo under his coat, thinking he is a spirit, but Trinculo joins him. Stephano sees the men's legs and thinks they are a monster, until he recognises Trinculo's voice.
- Is that a monster?Hang on!I recognise that voice!
- Act 3 Scene 1
- Will you marry me?
- Miranda speaks to Ferdinand as he works as Prospero's servant, she asks him to marry her! Prospero secretly watches and approves.
- Yes!I'd love to!
- Act 3 Scene 2
- Drunkenly, Caliban plots with Trinculo and Stephano to kill Prospero and make Stephano king of the island. Ariel whispers that Caliban is a liar.- CHARLIE GUY -
- He is a LIAR!
- I know!Let's kill Prospero!Then Stephano will be King of the island!
