- This is Sheldon, the CEO of Can-a-Bus (CAB), a pioneer Australian listed company that is leading the pharmaceutical industry with their ingenious product - Cannabis in a Bus-Shaped Can (CBSC)
- Can-a-Bus is known as a stroke of magic in the sector, as it was able to deliver strong profits, effective medicinal properties, while maintaining a strong ESG compliance. The details of their success are published each year in their annual report.
- Heading into another year end, Sheldon is reviewing the internal management financial reports with his CFO, Leonard, who joined the company recently from a different industry but has demonstrated a lot of passion for his work.
- Leonard’s special friend, Penny, is an Audit Partner of one of the big 5 accounting firms, I Know What You Did Last Financial Year (IKWYDLFY). Leonard had not disclosed his relationship with Penny, but had strongly suggested to Sheldon to request to the board to change the financial statement auditor to IKWYDLFY
- Penny on behalf of IKWYDLFY made a tailored pitch to CAB’s board of directors with Leonard’s assistance, using his inside knowledge that the board had been seeking a greater use of technology internal and external audits. The board was very impressed with Penny’s proposal that includes strong use of data visualisation techniques.
