He was always there
life is easy when all you care about is sports!
It all seemed fine
All of a sudden after years of being loved, I felt alone
Things did not make sense
An empty, dark road is what I discovered he'd been making his way down
When life was simple, but it wouldn't stay that way.
Something sinister was developing that had gone unnoticed by my young self.
He had become more distant and less agreeable. He seemed to get agitated now easier than ever. As if he was taken over by a parasite.
That was until the day he passed.
This road has no end.
