- After searching for Ferdinand, the king, Antonio and Sebastian return, and Antonio says that the coup must happen soon, showing that they didn't learn from Act II Scene I.
- My friend, the king is about to collapse, and his son is dead. The time to strike is now! We will complete what we began in the woods!
- To the party's amazement a food-ladened floating table appears, carried by spirits as Prospero watches.
- Us spirits bring you food. Eat.
- As the men try to eat, Ariel appears in a flash as a harpy. The table disappears, and Ariel declares them men of sin.
- You are all men of sin! Cease your ways and lead a clear life! Tonight, you shall not eat
- I will die on this forsaken island, and when I do I intend to die by my son!
- These men are in a truly wretched state!
- The men of the group go off separate ways, the king vowing to find his son and die by him. All of the men are in a panicked and depressed state.
- I'll kill them! I'll kill those spirits if its the last thing I do!
- No! Come back! You'll hurt yourselves! They've all gone mad. I must go after them quickly!
- Galonzo chases the men, convinced that they are mad as the scene ends.
- They will cause themselves harm! We must bring them back and restrain them if necessary.
- Then Ariel, looking like a harpy, appears form thin air in a flash and dissolves the meal, declaring those present men of sin.
