- A monarchy is a type of government where a monarch, the King or the Queen, is the head of the state and make decisions for the country. They achieve this position by being born in the royal family or being married into royalty.
- Oligarchy
- A dictatorship is a form of government where one person has all the power, this ruler is called a dictator. In a dictatorship, the individual rights of the citizens are generally suppressed and are not allowed to voice their opinions.
- Democracy
- A theocracy is a system of government in which priests rule the country in the name of god. In many theocracies, the state's legal system is based on religious law.
- Anarchy
- An oligarchy is when a small group of people have full control and power of the country. These people may be distinguished by their nobility, wealth, family ties, education, religious or military control.
- A democracy protects the rights of individuals because it allows citizens to vote for who they want in the government. In a democratic country, elections are held and the candidate with the most votes gets elected into the government.
- VOTE
- An anarchy is when there is an absence of government and there is no leader so nobody has power over everyone else. Anarchy is the condition when a society or a group of people rejects hierarchy so nobody will rule.
