  • A young boy, an ambitious father, challenging family members, and a big dream.

  • It is the early 1900s, and Moon Shine, a 7 year old boy, goes to America to live with his father, who he hasn’t met. As Chinese immigrants in San Francisco, Moon Shine, his father, and their extended family face many challenges while trying to run a successful laundromat.
