- Not many people know who I am, but I was born around 1743 and am currently enslaved; working on my way to become free being a successful farmer and plantation manager.

- The year is now 1791, and as you can now probably tell, I am now free, managing my own land. Oh and I heard of this "Haitian Revolution" or something, you know, I might join, all enslaved shall be free. I also plan to prove being a skilled tactician, showing all my talent, uniting a diverse force of formerly enslaved people to fight against the French, Spanish, and British colonial powers, we are stronger together!!!

- Year's now 1801, and thanks to me, foreign armies are now expelled, and have conquered the entire island of Hispaniola, and established a constitution that abolished slavery and named me governor-general for life. But heard about Napoleon's forces, and they don't seem too happy, I think they may capture me, maybe even deport me, I shall run. (1802). Oh lastly, groundwork for Haiti's declaration of independence will occur in 1804, making it the first free black republic in the world!!
