Pochopení závislosti může být obtížný koncept. Většina jedinců vidí negativní chování při užívání drog a označí tuto osobu za „špatnou“ nebo „slabou“. Mnoho uživatelů drog není schopno se se stresem vyrovnat a základní příčinou některých uživatelů drog může být okamžitá úleva stresorů. Cyklus závislosti může být těžké zlomit.
V této aktivitě studenti vytvoří scénář, který ilustruje cyklus závislosti . Měli by si být jisti, že uvedou popis každého kroku a určí, kdy je nejlepší čas na přerušení cyklu. Ve výše uvedeném příkladu scénáře je nejlepší čas označen jako fáze „jeskyně k použití“, ale není tomu tak vždy pro lidi.

Pokyny pro studenty
Demonstrujte své porozumění tomu, jak přerušit cyklus závislostí vytvořením scénáře.
- Klikněte na „Zahájit přiřazení“.
- Použijte rozložení pěti buněčných cyklů s názvy a popisy.
- Uveďte pět kroků cyklu v každém z titulních polí.
- V poli popisu buňky stručně vysvětlete, co se obvykle děje během každého kroku.
- Uveďte nejlepší příležitost k přerušení cyklu v příslušném poli popisu.
- Do pole pro popis viny / studu napište krátké prohlášení o odrazu.
- Zobrazte vizuální příklad každého kroku v buňkách pomocí kombinace vhodných scén, znaků a položek. Nezobrazujte skutečné užívání drogy.
- Uložte a odešlete úkol.
