- Welcome everyone to the tour of the most emblematic centers of Durango.First we will visit the mining tunnel museum. Inside the tunnel, work tools and means of transport used in the mines, miners' clothing and a wide range of minerals are exhibited.

- Could you tell us more about it?
- Because one of its most popular legends has to do with its imposing Cathedral and a heartbreak story involving a nun.
- This cathedral was inaugurated in 1844, its architecture is baroque, and it was built by the architect Mateo Núñez.
- Poor girl.
- It must have been difficult for her.
- This legend began with a young woman from Durango named Beatriz who decided to give her life to God and entered a convent, however, this hill and the young woman returned home with her parents. Unfortunately, Beatriz's parents died.
- What a tragic story!
- The young woman lived alone in her house which was very close to the cathedral. One day, a young man knocked on her door, he was a soldier asking for asylum, she initially refused, but was forced to accept him. After a while they fell in love, but he had to leave with his army. Unfortunately the young man died, Beatriz never found out and climbed to the top of the cathedral to await his arrival, it is not yet known what happened to Beatriz, the most famous rumor is that one day she was waiting for her lover, she imagined seeing him arrive, from the emotion he fell and died.
