- Before the video: I never knew why some of the items at the grocery store were so unbelievably cheap.
- How in the world are these drinks so damn cheap?!
- Before the video: I always wanted to get the latest edition of clothing possible and I was never satisfied with what I had.
- Wow, these clothes are fine! I gotta get me one of those jackets!
- But I just got new clothes!
- Before the video: I always underused my products and never cared to recycle properly.
- Mum! I thought I told you to get me a new monitor!
- So what?! I don't care!!
- But honey! You just got this one 2 weeks ago! Besides, throwing it away will generate a lot of waste as electronics are hard to recycle.
- After watching the video: I am now more aware of how the developing world is paying for our goods and I'm trying to find ways to raise awareness about this issue.
- Hi Mr. Davis, I was wondering if the topic for my end of year Socials Studies project could be about the sacrifices the developing world makes in order for us, the consumers to get the items we so desperately want but don't need.

- After watching the video: I've put in more effort to using products for as long as I can and have stopped getting sucked into buying the latest trends.
- Wow! Those are some pretty nice Air Jordan's up there. Oh well, I know that I don't need more shoes and besides, I ca still wear these Vans for a couple more years.
- After watching the video: I recycle as much as possible and try to convince others to do so as well. I also try my best not to generate too much garbage and waste.
- Phew! Recycling sure is hard, but it's a good thing to do. Luckily, because I don't generate so much waste anymore it's not as hard to do.
