Meeting of the Estates General
French Revolution lasted from 1789 to 1799. This revolution was started because of King Louis XVI horrible spending and participating in wars they didn't have to witch hurt the economy greatly nearly bankrupting France. Louis convened the Estates-General to try and save his budget crisis and started the revolution.
