The story starts off with a boy name Stanley Yelnats who was framed forecasting following shoes from the legendary sweet feet a baseball player then was soon sent I can't Green Lake where he would soon find the person who actually stole the shoes
climax
Stanley Yelnats soon finds a pair of shoes that supposedly fell out of the sky these shoes belong to the very sweet feet after this he was soon sent to the Camp Green Lake
resolution
all this happened when he was cursed by the one and only madam zeroni to carry her up the mountain and sing to her but if he forgot he would be cursed for all eternity and so would his descendants
Denoument
Stanley Yelnats shortly after being sent to Camp green make a little boy named zero this boy was actually the descendant of Madame zernoi but after he ran away Stanley shortly ran after him once they found him they climbed up the same Mountain Madame Zeroni and Stanley's great-great-grandfather was supposed to go up breaking the curse
Towards the end of the book they're now being freed from Camp Green Lake but both curses are lifted the curse on Camp Green Lake and the curse on Stanley this is proven because the rain started and it hasn't rained there in over a hundred years
This is in the end were after camp green lake was closed and the curse was broken they were freed
