¨Sorry Poseidon it is my duty to lift the moon up so that people who are lost may find there way and to set it so that Apollo can raise the sun¨
¨ Jason wanderer of the seas kill her while she is down!¨

¨auggh!!!¨
Poseidon is mad at Selene for raising the moon because it is too bright for his eyes and his people's eyes. Because he is mad at Selene for blinding his eyes and his people, he tells Selene to put down the moon.
Yes Poseidon
However, Selene refuses, because it is her duty to raise and set the moon.
Poseidon gets very enraged. He zaps he with lightning and Selene falls from her chariot and into the ocean. After Selene fell into the ocean Poseidon commands Jason the Wanderer of the Seas to finish her off.
Jason listens to Poseidon and goes to find and kill Selene.
However, Jason does not kill Selene, because of her beauty and he doesn't want to make people angry at him, so he saves her from drowning. Poseidon is angry at Jason for disobeying him, so he prepares to kill him, but Zeus saves them both and throws a lightning bolt at Poseidon's trident which damages it so Zeus can get Selene and Jason to Mt. Olympus for safety.
After Zeus saves Jason and Salene, he awards Jason for saving Salene by making him protector of the seas. The moral of this story is you should always do the right thing even if you have to take risks.
